CFIP presented the Philippine timber regulatory requirements and chain-of-custody guidebook to its members and associates, an initiative spearheaded by the Chamber to support verified legal sources of timber for trade.
The “Guidebook on Regulatory Requirements and Chain of Custody for the Philippine Timber Associations” was presented by CFIP, under the project supported by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) under the EU-FLEGT Programme, last 24 January 2019 in Muntinlupa City.

The Guidebook will be distributed to CFIP members on February 2019. And the challenge posed for the Chamber is how to further engage industry players on the timber CoC due diligence system.
